Elkhart Plastics, Inc. Finalizes Acquisition
SOUTH BEND, IN – Elkhart Plastics, Inc. (EPI) has officially finalized its acquisition of the assets of The Plastic Professionals (P2) and Connect-A-Dock (CAD) today, Oct. 31, 2018.
EPI officially announced its acquisition plans in late September this year.
The finalized acquisition grows EPI’s footprint from five to six manufacturing locations in the U.S. The newest location is in Atlantic, Iowa.
“We’re thrilled to finalize the acquisition and officially add the sixth location in Atlantic,” Jack Welter, EPI CEO, says. “We have plans to rapidly increase service to current and future customers. We’re also excited to add the Atlantic team to the EPI family.”
EPI will continue to serve customers who were P2 customers at the time of acquisition. Additionally, EPI will now manufacture Connect-A-Dock products.
EPI plans to quickly transfer products from some of its other locations to better serve customers and to take advantage of its new capacity in the Atlantic. The Atlantic plant is 215,000 square feet and has 10 rotational molding machines.
Employees of P2 and CAD at the time of acquisition are now EPI employees. EPI is currently hiring for new positions in the Atlantic. Click here to view openings and to apply.
