Elkhart Plastics Promotes Elie Azzi to Newly Created Position

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart Plastics is pleased to announce the promotion of Elie Azzi, who has been with the company for 16 months, to the newly created position of Vice President of Quality & Midwest Operations. Azzi most recently served as Elkhart Plastics’ Corporate Director of Quality and Interim Plant Manager at the Middlebury location.

“Elie has proven himself to be an asset to the company,” said Jack Welter, CEO of Elkhart Plastics. “The creation of this position paired with his skills will serve Elkhart Plastics and its customers well.”

In this new position, Azzi will oversee manufacturing at Elkhart Plastics’ four facilities in Indiana and Ohio as well as quality at all six of the company’s locations.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to harmonize processes and ensure that Elkhart Plastics is positioned for growth and increased profitability,” Azzi said. “I have a strong track record of building teams and developing plans and initiatives to help improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and grow high-performing teams.”

Azzi earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in management science. Before joining Elkhart Plastics, he was employed by Robert Bosch LLC.

In his free time, Azzi enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
